This Week's "What is it ?"

The second one (903) is a pocket knife with a replaceable scalpel blade. Penthrane was an anesthetic inhalation agent that was withdrawn from the market. The knife was probably a salesman's give away. These days they have pens. I have a cool one with a laser pointer and a palm pilot stylus that says Suprane (Desflurane) on the side of it.

905 looks like something for cutting hose or maybe copper tubing.

I too thought a fighting tool of somesort, nunchaku or something, the wooden box, I got that one, my Grama had one just like it, but store bought, it had a striking area on one end.

Cools stuff!

Numchucks was a pretty good guess. But the pig castrator is in fact an emergency tracheotomy scalpel. "Don't leave home without it"

Ian nailed it. I Googled 'penthrane' it is (was) an anesthesia inhalant that is now off the market because of safety issues. The knife thingy would have been given to doctors by sales reps.
The #907 chain thingy could be a measuring device for a specific purpose. Dunno, just guessing.
