Well Steve unless I missed what you built here's what I just did for mine today. It's made from 3/4" scrap birch ply that was from an old bench at work that we thru away. I only doubled the top back about 11" where the bandsaw sits. I reused the locking casters I originally had on the bandsaw and used some 16" deep metabox drawers I had lying around I salvaged from another job I demoed.
One thing I did do was lower mine about 10". I found that most of the lareger bandsaws had a table height of 35-1/2" to 37-1/2". I made mine come out to 36-1/2" to match my tablesaw outfeed table and the roll around cart that I have. To me this is much more natural to cut on this saw now.
