The Wood Talks

Like in my woodworking...I'm also a wannabee music creator
Fair warning- I can't carry a tune in a bucket...and this may be a little to much rock for some, what can I say, at least I 'feel' young! :headbang:

Lyrics...
Wood chips and shavings
Lying everywhere
Sweet scent of milled lumber
Fills our house of prayer

Tools that cut and form
Assisted by our hands
Bringing art to life
True crafter's understand

The wood talks, it speaks to you
How well you listen shows in what you do

Sanding smoothing shaping
Chisel's bit's and plane's
Desire for creating
Cruises thru your veins

A never ending journey
Each steps the holy grail
Listen to the wood talk
And the beauty will not fail

The wood talks, it speaks to you
How well you listen shows in what you do

Woodworkers are artist
Creative heart and soul
If you listen to the wood call
Then you have reached the goal

I'd have to agree with you about carrying tunes (same dog bit me pretty bad, too), but I like the guitar playing. :thumb: What program are you using to record with? And what are you using for the drum tracks?

"Move over Springsteen".....
Thanks for suffering guys :D

Dog??? a whole freakin pack attacked me
I use 'Adobe Audition'{ver.1.5} for recording & editing & 'Guitar Rig' for amp fx. My skills aren't up to that level, just rhythm {and some bass from when I first began}. The other tracks were created using 'Band in a box'...on the expensive side, but, tons of variables and total control from progression, accompaniments, fill's, tempo etc. etc...it also allows recording with-in{fwiw}........pretty cool software IMO!
