Spalted maple HF in progress

Unfinished, as Im going to add a stick or pedestal, and perhaps a finial as well. I stopped because I started making stupid (as in I know better) mistakes. Faux collar is burned with wire to add definition. 4.5" x 2.5"
However and whatever it turns out as, I will post finished whenever that is! :dunno:

I post this for the sheer beauty of this chunk of woood - no matter what I do to it from here on.....

Now don't forget to show us what ya end up with ether.I think a nice black pedestal and finial would look great on something like this also.

OK...so we are supposed to post something looking as good?....I give up! That's going to look great when you get a finish on it. Well donebud!!...and I'm fond of burn accents...they really are a lot of fun! :thumb:
