So I met with the doc who will do my surgery yesterday. She says "how do you feel?" I said fine. Then she says, "we'll cut that cancer right out" and I said "huh?" Finally someone says it. So the deal is that it is a non spreadable carciniod(?) as when she slices and dices me on the 15th...thats it. It's gone and done. Maybe some shop time a month post op :(. So now...assuming it works out that way, I can introduce myself as a cancer survivor :thumb:

Jim, have said a prayer and will keep you in my prayers. Good luck. Sounds like you have a doctor with the right attitude. Keep a positive outlook and will keep an eye out for your post after surgery. Go get 'em!!!

Whatever happens, I expect to see a banana in the picture.

Even if it's only a big smile that's shaped like one. :thumb:

Best of everything Jim!

Ok, you know the drill: follow the MD orders, do not begin your own PT routine, despite the fact you KNOW it will speed your recovery (not) and rest.
I'll send you enough stuff to keep you reading and thinking, well until your sick of it! You'll get through this with your spirituality one day at a time.:thumb:
