Burned platter

Well i figure that Jim showed his first burned piece, so i thought i'd show ya mine.:p. This ain't quite done as i want to knock it down with steel wool and wax and buff. It's made of some walnut that i got off the job site. The scrap was from a counter top for the ladies island. Wish i had brought my camera and gotten a pic of that but i didn't, and i've been stuck over at the other job.:( Well i'm going to give this to the doc and his wife as it will match there island top.:D It's 17" x 1 1/2" Thanks as always and all c&c welcome
Steve

Awesome work, Steve. The platter is beautiful and you did a great job on the burning. The photo is very nice, too. :thumb:

Alright Mr Smarty pants (;)) Just what I needed...show me up on my first try...whatever...whatever...:rofl::rofl:. That is a beauty of a platter and nice burn job. I picked up some pointers from a dude on another forum and as soon as my LOML give me my turning budget back, I have a DVD on the way:rofl::rofl:
