Starting to turn again now that my shop is warming up. Started turning some pendants and had a piece of cherry burl turn out like this. Sprayed a couple of coat of lacquer on it. Needs a few more Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated

Anything special about spraying lacquer on bark. I am guessing it will soak up more

Yeah, the bark will drink up a bit more finish than the surrounding areas, but with enough coats, it should build up into a gloss. (Assuming that's what you're after.)
