I particularly like shaker style furniture. :thumb:

To me they had the right idea less flash and more practical. Usable furniture in my view.

That clock is simply awesome :thumb:

Steve I think Kent has it right. If you gonna make their stuff do it with hand tools.

I don't have even the smallest part of talent to do that. Let alone with hand tools.

Well, honestly, I do make Shaker-like furniture [look at my album] but I use whatever combination of hand and power tools do the job best.

I do prefer hand planed raised panels, and hand formed chamfers and roundovers though, and that's how I most often do them.
