Scrap Bin

Not much of a project as such, but a much-needed addition to the shop furniture. I built this scrap bin to hold all the odds and ends of stuff "too good to throw away" but still cluttering the place up.

The bin takes 1½ sheets of plywood to build, and of course, some wheels. Since this won't be moving a lot, I used cheapie wheels from Harbor Freight. If anyone is interested in building it, I've included a parts list and cutting diagrams here.

What I want though are some of those 'scraps' you got lurking there. Looks like some nice pieces hidden there! :thumb:

Sure! You can have the plywood offcuts, and the OSB pieces...Oh, wait!...I bet you meant the curly maple, bloodwood, cherry, walnut, purpleheart, etc., didn't you?

Now you know why I keep my scraps!
