I use to hate to malty-task just because I would never get anything done and by the end of the day I would feel like some dum blond bimbo:rofl::rofl:
But the med's I'm taking for ADHD seems to be doing their job.

Steve I am not turning down any work no matter how busy I get.

Jarrod did his 1st carving job. I had him or should I say made him do the carved piece on the top of the mahogany chest and the side corners. I'm very proud of the boy, he did a fantastic job. I knew he could do it just had to give him a push.

I do have a few pics of the job Jarrod did. He took this cabinet 100% apart , re-glued it and made the top with a little help.

There might be hope for the boy yet:thumb::thumb: Nice work on that.
Nope Nada he's back in the dog house , on my paturbed list.

Today I took in a porcelain job, quick 150 bucks for reapplying a handle to a vase and touch. I was getting something to eat and when I returned Jarrod is working on the break. Now When your working on porcelain you have to think 5 step ahead and be very very very careful, bet you see this coming ! I told him you need to paint the cracked edges with a white undercoater so a dark line will not show, NO YOU DON"T ! yes you do. You also need to tone the epoxy to the exact color of the finish, OK I CAN DO IT ! so he epoxy's the handle and puts it to the vase and walks away for a second. I hear Crack ! The friggen handle drops off and onto the floor. I told him bulls horns happens & your dealing with the customer.

O I'm .................

Glad you are keeping busy.
Yer boy did some fine carving.
You definitely need to send that musket to me for final approval and testing. It shouldn't take more than a couple years to get that done. ;)

The owner wants to know if it can be shot. I told him he would have to work up the loads from 40 gr to about 90. I'd like to borrow it next year for turkey season. May just have to keep it a while longer. LOL
