Well, My friend that grew up in the area had seen my posts about my attempts at making spiedies on Facebook.

He decided I needed to try the real deal, so look what the fedex driver just dropped off!

Do you just bbq the meet and take it off between two slices of bread?
If so where do things go wrong?

Making my mouth water with this. I would love the lamb kind. :thumb: Love lamb meat.

I think i gotta introduce you to a version of what we do from back SA way of a similar kind. Someday soon.;)
 
I'm all about taking on and making regional specialties from other parts of the globe that I've never tasted.

I like the experimental nature of it.

And if it involves meat and fire, so much the better! :thumb: :thumb:
 
Oh my, them Pork Spiedies were good. The pork was tender and well seasoned, the bread that came with it was soft and yeasty. Just perfect....

And we still have the chicken and lamb to try some other nights.... :thumb:
