Small Vase

It has been a busy 1 1/2 weeks. I got 3 days of clock work done and 7 days of turning. Woohoo. The wife came out Monday and wanted to know if I could turn her a vase. I said sure what did you have in mind. So she flips out a drawing. Actually turned out pretty well. She said she did not want a finial on it but a knob. So here it is 6" tall and 4" at the widest. Finished with lacquer with one more light coat on the vase and 3 more for the lid. She said it was pretty and cute.

Bernie...this one is very nice. So, did this match your wifes drawing?

I do have a question though. Is it stable? I love the shape of this and others similar to this I've seen here and on other forums but I always wonder if they will easily tip over?

I think this shape is a great looking art piece but worry about it falling off the mantle or shelf or wherever.
