Spin Art Candle Holders

These are made with baltic birch 1/2 inch plywood glued together to form a block 6" x 6" x 4" and finsihed with waterbourne lacquer. The spin art is done with acrylic paint thinned to almost a water consistancy, base color copper is painted by hand to cover the whole top, then the three shades of blue are added while spinning on the lathe.

Really creative paint job!! I never would have thought of doing that on the lathe.

I am a candle fella and I think they look sharp!
