This vase form is 8-1/2" tall x 8" dia; it has one coat of tung oil so far. I am undecided on gloss or matte for the final finish (any suggestions?).

Very pretty, Dennis. I do quite a few relatively glossy pieces, but for some reason I think this one would look nice with a matte finish.

Looks real nice with the form and grain pattern there Dennis. I like it the way it is so whatever you got on it do more of.

Nice form and grain looks great. If it were me I would do a matte/satin on that one.

That's some mighty fine looking hickory. I vote for matte.
