More maple burl

This time no dye.:D Wanted to do something quick and easy,so this is what i came up with. Not sure i like the finial, but it does look better in real life.:rofl: the piece is about 7x7 1/2 to the top of the finial. And just multi coats of rattle can lacquar. Waxed and buffed. Thanks as always.

Very nice piece. My wife loves these with the holes and such. I tell her they won't hold water. Going to have to try one to shut her up! I just don't think I can do as good as yours.
 
Zingo...another one over the fence, Steve. :thumb: I really like the finial, but I'm not sold on the stepped lid itself. And the hollow form has a great, well, you know...form. Nailed it, in fact. :clap:
