Sharpening a scraper how easy it can be...

Thanks for posting this Bart. I have always used a number 10 mill file and a burnisher to "tweak" the edge. I have seen other sharpening processes using stones but all of them seemed a bit too arduous for a scraper. He has it down to just a few seconds it seems. Of course having a pond set up on your bench makes a big difference :D
 
I just gave that method a try. I only had a 600 grit diamond plate but, still got good results with less time than I had been spending. Thanks!
 
I just used William Ng's method for the second time. I'm sold. I am getting shavings that are nearly plane-like.
