I have three...all made from PVC and rubber plumbing couplings...under ten bucks each...and they sound great. If you want to go that way I'll find the site.

Sharon, It sounds like snoring! To stop snoring you have to use it as a bonker!! To make mine, I bought at Lowe's 2 inch and 1-1/2 inch PVC (at least 6' long) and a soft rubber drain and trap connector to fit each size.
Take the metal bands off the connectors. They aren't needed, since they will comfortably slip over the end of the pipe. The small end of the connector is the mouthpiece. Works much better than the bees wax recommended in many of the on-line tutorials. Cut the tubes to length per the link and snort away! Lots of videos on the tube of you Google PVC didgeridoo.

Well it would be his Christmas present (of course assuming he's going to get me my Yamaha digital piano in kind).
I'd like something that would look nice with his guitars, but something he would actually use (outside a quarter of a mile from the house
