Drawer in a table question

its easy to do cynthia.
cut and size the aprons, Take the front apron and determine what size you want the drawer opening.
Rip the apron so you have 3 pieces, the top and bottom, and the center piece the width of the drawer opening.
Keep the pieces in the correct place, then cut out the center of the center piece, however wide you want the drawer opening, then glue both top and bottom with the center on each side and you have a drawer opening on an apron.

edit to put in something important. when you rip the apron, remember you are going to lose the kerf of the blade, so you might want to cut that apron a bit larger, or just rip the aprons after the glueup to get all equal sizes.
I always make the aprons a bit larger then rip them all together using the front drawer cutout apron as the sizer.
