Thanks all for the comments, suspect there are going to be a fair few more during the year in a similar vein.
Lots of off-cuts to use up and they seem ever popular for gifts.

For someone who was never keen on segmented stuff, I seem to have worked myself into a bit of a rut.

They do have the benefit of not having to worry about warping and lid mis-fits which stuff turned from solid has a habit of doing.
 
Typical process HERE , well a couple of processes missing, but they only involve a couple of simple jigs :).

Don't tend to assemble them on the lathe now I am doing so many, just turn up the pieces in batches and clamp them all up at the same time, better usage of glue mixes and time.
