Friend suggested I try two different woods...here they are. Blood wood, walnut and aluminum. The one on the right blew up twice in 3 pieces, need to work on my prep more. Left one only let go once. Working on some copper now and 3 wood segment. Sierra kits from Berea, platinum and black Ti. C&C used on the next one and thanks for looking!

you pen turners will use anything in these if its not bolted down and even then you will probally grab a wrench quick
