A little sewing cabinet for my daughter

This is a project I started right after the first of the year. It is supposed to be a birthday present but it is about one month late and looks like it might be two months out before I get finished.
Sarah (my daughter) asked me if I would build this for her last summer. Her plan was to have just a nice simple little box with some drawers where she could store all her thread, needles, scissors, and all those other things that she uses to sew with. I wanted to give her something that would be more of an heirloom piece so it is going to be a little fancier than she anticipated and in spite of the delay she is pretty happy with the direction it is headed.
