Chair Design - Hows this done?

Hey all.

I have been wanting to tackle a chair project for a while now and finally found one that I think I may take a stab at in pine (prototype). Anyone got a decent idea how the back of this one is done? Drawings\picture really would help a bunch. I live out in the middle of nowhere, so going and looking at the chair is next to impossible.

Looks pretty much like a stylized Morris chair. Take a look at some of the many Morris Chair plans available in magazines and on the net (Norm made one on New Yankee Workshop, too) and that might give some hints as to how it's done.

Jim, I was thinking the same thing. I really like Morris chairs. I am wanting to do something with upholstery. I use to do a bit in the automotive industry years back and enjoyed it (custom work). Not sure I am setup for it, but it would be fun to try my hand at it.
