Cannon This one is going to have a chocolate carriage.:thumb::thumb:
If we are lucky I might even get a new camera and take some pics along the way.

Found a pirated camera. Ok so it was one that a client tossed in the dumpster. :thumb:

And every cannon needs wheels.
Dry fit....Looks like all the parts are right.
Last pick all the parts are drilled for the threaded rod that will hold it all together.

No wood was harmed in the cannon works today. :thumb:
How ever some metal was.:thumb::thumb:
Third pic is of a clevis now that clevis just don't look like what I want. 4 pic is what it will look like when I'm done.:thumb:
It is the rope guide on the side of the navel carriage. Most of the carriage builders I have seen just put an eye with a welded ring because that's all you can get off the shelf and kinda looks like what is supposed to be there. But from what I have seen they are more like an oar lock than a danging ring. Plus they are ridged not dangling. :thumb:

Man this thread cost me a load of time last night. :) I simply cannot believe the fact that you can buy all these cannon barrels in the US. It had me go to sites where i was blown away by all the black power guns and items you can buy. I knew some of it existed but never to the extent that i came across last night.

Just how many guns do each of you guys have.?:eek: I keep drooling every time i see a black powder rifle have ambitions to make one from a kit but then i looked up kits and man i should never have bothered. There are so darn many that i could never choose.

As to Cannons well i am just totally amazed dept of HS has not put an end to people being able to purchase them.

Chuck can you actually fire anything out of that barrel or is it just used to make a noise with a little black powder.

If so where does one have to go to fire the thing. I am presuming no neighborhood is going to allow a "9 o clock and all is clear" kind of shot once a day :D

What sort of price did this cannon barrel go for? I am seeing them all over the place and cannot figure out the reasoning yet.

All i did see is "this item CANNOT be shipped to Canada" on just about every item in the catalog. :(

I guess someone here thinks we might take a cannon and go rob a bank with it. :dunno: Our anti gun rules have not stopped a bunch of gangsters getting hold of hand guns and having a free for all in Toronto this year with many killed in several shootings. Would be nice if a victim could retaliate now and then. Oh well it is what it is.
