Some draft horses for Jonathan

Have had a couple of people ask what kinds are in a specific picture. I'll give my best guess and reasons why.

Picture #1 - Black Clydesdale's, all the "feathering" around the tops of their hooves (actually the pastern bone and around the coronet band commonly called the hoof head). Awwww, I see Clydes now on the wagon so guess #1 correct!!!

Picture #2 - More clydesdales, different color options.

Picture #3 - John Deere (Green color!!)

Picture #4 - Belgians. Common sorrel color, popular with farmers due to lack of feathering (less mess/mud/manure collection opportunity).

Picture #5 - Percherons. Another farm favorite for the feathering reason also. Belgians tend to have a more laid back attitude than a Percheron. Kind of like a car then there is a sports car.

Picture #6 - Four up of black clydes.

Ned, wonderful photos. Should sell them! Thanks for sharing.
