I love my LA block. I have a second blade so I can change the bevel angle in a snap. I also got the tote and knob to make it a sort-of No.3. If I had to do it again I would probably get the ball-tail but, that's me. Mom and dad got me the apron plane for Christmas and it has become my go-to where I used to use the block plane. This is OK as I just leave the tote and knob on the LA block.

l.....I had no idea that owning a plane could be so complicated. I'm getting the apron plane. I'm just not sure if I want it wired for 110 or 220

Those are real high powered planes.
I am a real Veritas plane fan. They setup and adjust so fast and easily. They are a joy to use.
