turning a scoop

I can't take any credit for this except to brag on the wood turning club I belong to. Buncha good guys and some real talent there. The scoop below was turned at our last meeting. Even the, basically, flat handle was turned. Check our our club website, done by a member for the tutorial on how it was done.

That is very cool Frank.

I saw Jean Francious Escoulen do some very similar stuff, kind of scary to watch, as there were bits of wood spining VERY fast outside of the usual area that one would expect them to be......... :eek:
