Wow the Gnome rotary had me going. I did not know the cylinders rotated. When i first saw the animation i was convinced it was wrong with the cylinders rotating so i took some time to check and its accurate. Heres a video to prove it

There are (were) some other crazy rotary engines. I'd really like to see a Millet bicycle in operation, it makes my head hurt looking at it though

One of my Looooooong todo list is to build a nice version of a model flame licker engine (technically a sub form of the sterling, but makes a lovely little put put noise as it runs)
