My woodturning club emailed the following:
It is with deep sadness that I pass on this news of a good friend to me and to hundreds in the woodturning community.
I received a phone call this morning from Brad Packard on the East Coast telling me Jerry Glaser died on Wednesday
January 9th. Jerry's Daughter called Brad to tell him Jerry fell and struck his head and was killed instantly. Jerry was one
of the most brilliant men I have ever known and contributed immeasureably to the development of contemporary
woodturning technology. He was a brilliant designer, engineer and inventor. I consider it an honor to have known him
and enjoyed his dry wit.
