Don't get me started on "decorative" wrought iron. I don't care how fancy it is; it makes your house look like a liquor store in Watts.

When I lived in phoenix we had a co-worker from a more civilized (rural) part of the world visit and tried to convince him that the wrought iron window coverings meant that it was a fancy high end part of town... I don't think he bought it
