Hey ! The heavy glass takes up less room then a paper cutter which is a pain in the backside. Slide the paper in pick up tje cut pieces. Not to mention lifting the lever for each cut. I don't know why it took me so long to use the glass instead of the edge of the table also. Clean rips.
