Is there such a thing as 5/4 pressure treat lumber? I need some for a outside project and it needs to be 5/4 x 8 but I cant seem to find anything like that in 5/4. I thought I could use pressure treated decking but can only find it 5/4 x 6 which is to small. It will be used to make garden harps for a historical site. They had some made from standard 5/4 but they didnt hold up well to the weather. Or, is there another choice in 5/4 that would hold up in the bad weather. Thanks.

It will hold up to weather.
and I know it comes in 5/4, I had quite a bit of it, and I had to plane it down to 3/4 to make some chairs couple of years back. I didnt want to purchase more oak, so I just planed it down.

Got to ask your self does this project have direct ground contact? If the answer is yes than you are stuck with PT or one of the fake woods. Anything else will rot some faster than others but rot it will.
