I havent had much chance to work on this but I have made the arms and just need to put them in the right place. It is a 4 arm bowl steady. When putting them on I have clamped them to what I think is right but I ? myself wanting to make sure !!!??? What is best way to make the right placement??

Hmmm just do it...maybe Im getting tooo elementary and worrying too much lol ??!! Mike "Turner" needs help !!

Just make sure they won't interfere with your laser. Sometimes depending on the vessel, the top left arm (looking at the head stock) gets in the way of the laser. With mine (Made by Jeff Nichol) I can remove that arm and use an extra clamp on arm in a different place to keep things rolling smoothly.

Mike, the location (and number, for that matter) really isn't critical. As Ted said, try to keep it out of the way of the laser if you have one, but even then, you can simply remove that one arm for the cuts where it's in the way.
