was the mike guy ? micheal james, vaughn? you got plentyof open area to make things go boom in. who does the cleanup up in gulley ten?:)

This was another Mike, a long-time buddy and former student. (Haven't seen MJ is a year or more.) The other friend was Jim, who I've known since high school. So I guess you could say I was with Michael and James, but not Michael James. :D

We were shooting on a little strip of BLM land between a couple of Indian reservations. The place we were at has had a lot of garbage shooting take place, but we did bag up and carry out all of our own trash.

And out here, that's not a gully, it's an arroyo. Sheesh! Dang Gringos.

Good fun and I have definitely had a few computers I would like to shoot as most if not all of us have! I fell short on a couch my ex asked me to fix one time too many. Just three or four gallons of gas and a small fire. The column of smoke at my business could be seen from my back yard so I gently took her by the hand and led her out back. Not for the first time I realized most women have no sense of humor!

Thanks Vaughn i enjoyed seeing them get some payback for all the grey hair they have caused. Looks like you guys had one heck of a load of fun. Hows the Floyd Song go.....Oh how i wish i was there....(modified of course) would do no good if you were here, we would have to place those units in the hazardous waste recycling bin :) .

Something very strange though for a nation that has a "no gun" outlook we certainly seem to have our own fair share of shootings around here lately. we had a couple of guys think they were in the wild west on the weekend at a local high end shopping mall. So much for the " no gun policy" helping that problem out. LOL mankind all you can do is laugh. :)

I have an M4, I have a trash laptop, but no tannerite(sp). Let's suppose I had a place to go "bang", a big gun, but no tannerite...where might one find such a thing?

Dunno if they ship to CA, but they sell it at http://www.tannerite.com/. I bought the canisters I had at a gun show here in ABQ. Mine were 1/4 pounders, although it looks like the Tannerite site only sells 1/2 and 1 pounders. (The 1/4 pound ones are only in the "Retail Packaging" bundle, apparently.)

It's fun stuff. I got sunburned pretty good yesterday...have the raccoon look because I was wearing sunglasses. I also noticed white lines under my eyes...turns out the white lines are in the same place as the wrinkles in my face that only happen when I'm smiling. I was apparently smiling all afternoon, because the wrinkles didn't get any sun at all. :D

But you don't really need the Tannerite. Just emptying a 30 round mag of .223 into a laptop can be pretty therapeutic, too. My friend Jim (who brought the laptops) had previously debated with me on Facebook about the "need" for high-capacity magazines. I offered to take him out and show him that they can indeed be used for fun instead of mayhem. By the end of the day, he fully agreed with me. ;)

That is an open-minded man!! I'm taking mine out again tomorrow...20 rounds wasn't enough! Still have that POC laptop too!! Sunburn will be the order of the day in a couple of weeks.
