Man this has been a long week, guess it gets that way when you have to actually work all 5 work days huh. ;)

Tonight I've got some crown and mag catches to install in the master bath, plan to do the final caulking around the floor, and some touch-ups to paint. Tomorrow will be helping my wife pickup the house a bit, need to power wash the lower deck, then be confined to the shop while she has her success group meeting at our house. I might try to put those larger casters on the dust collector. Have some reloading I'd like to do also. Sunday I may have to go out to the range and hone on my plinking skills, been a while since I've done any.

What's everyone else got going?

TGIF. It has been quite a week. Working for the Universities of California means that summer is our busiest time as the student population is lowest. This is when we get to do all that voodoo that keeps all those bits flying through the air and over the wire and fiber up and down the state. I am sooooo going to hide in the shop this weekend. I need the therapy. This is why I use imperial measurements in the shop. Metric looks too much like decimal which is too close to the binary/octal/hexadecimal world I live in at work. No one has ever asked me to do a protocol analysis of their fractional data.

Fractions . . . ahhhhh :D

Well, with all the rain we've had I'm finally able to head outside to mow the lawn. It's tall, lush & beckoning

Also hope to pick up the electrical supplies to wire in a new 20A circuit for the HFDC. Ran out of open slots for a new 20A circuit breaker. Fortunately, a Tandem 20A CB will allow me to add another 20A circuit for the DC in the same slot as the original 20A CB. Once the wiring is done, the HFDC should be good to go.

It's my daughter's 8th birthday today so tonight we are taking her and 4 of her friends to an Iowa Cubs baseball game (AAA Cubs Affiliate) As part of a bday package she gets to throw out the first pitch! She is super excited and I'm excited for a beatiful night at the ballpark! I think they're are playing Vaughn's beloved Isotopes...they're going down Vauhgn!!:)

Tomorrow we are up and on the road early to my hometown in KS for a 90th birthday for my great aunt, my grandma's sister. She is the last of that generation on either side and has 9 kids of her own...there are gonna be over to 200 relatives, 5 generations, there!

I just got back in from the shop... yeah! I used minimal electrons... and lots of elbow power this morning. sweeping and cleaning... and glueing up another two blanks for the next wave of cutting boards. i have my triple 'run' today work wise... so I'll be going basically from 1:00-2am tonight by the time I stop. Guess I'd better grab a quick shower, then get ready for work. ciao all~

Today has been a little honey-do stuff inside, then to the shop to finish assembly of my new G0690 (pics to come). I'll be modifying the benches surrounding my table saw position to accommodate the Incra TS when it arrives.

Saturday will be more of the same in the shop and helping LOML with a couple of house items.

Sunday will be a chill-out day (hopefully). NASCAR at noon, of course! Will toss a couple of steaks and lobster tails on the grill for dinner.

Working on the Putter Palace today. Only have one day off and then not every week. Friday is my designated day off. Have an old bench that I am clearing and will offer for sale at the local woodworking club meeting next Tuesday. Brent gets my scissor table and I will use that top to make a bench/router table/table saw extension table. Once things get cleared out, I can take the necessary measurements and get with the program. Also working on the electrical, slow but sure. It is over the head work and my neck doesn't like that stuff, so taking it a little bit at a time so as not to take myself out of the loop altogether.

 Even better is not measuring at all. Freeeee!!!

I'm on call this weekend so staying close. I have a few projects to work on depending on the temperature... we shall see.

That is absolutely fabulous! Post a picture of her throwing the pitch. :thumb:

Worked today. First time in about 10 days. Have to work Sunday 7-4.

Heading out in the morning to Gloucester, Mass to pick up a Delta radial arm saw I found at a consignment shop. Looks to be almost brand new but is missing the blade guards that float up and down over the work piece (don't know the official name of them), No problem, I'll make some new ones easily. It's almost a 2 hr drive but the wife and I will pig out on fried clams and onion rings while watching the fishing fleet.

A dinner and casino night tonight. Probably means Saturday is wasted by the time we get home. More continuation of gardening and Quicken (read procrastination).

I've got a few enclosure boxes to make, and a PID to put together. So I'll get to exercise my iBox a little bit more with some baltic birch.

Been too hot in the evenings to do much, and I've been pretty busy with work.

Got plenty of projects, but just hard to get to them this time of year.

Well, Guess I'll have to put something on the smoker too. Just got 100# of wood pellets delivered.
20# each of hickory, maple, pecan, cherry, and mesquite.

And in my smoker, 20# will go a very, very long way. I think I might have bought a lifetime supply of wood pellets...

My phone froze up right at the moment of the the pitch.(My wife got some good video though) Here is a pick of her just before she ran out to the mound and then her picture on the big screen as they anounced her birthday to everyone at the park.
