couple bowls

WOB bowl, 10 x 2, spalted ash bowl, 10 x 2 3/4. Both are headed out of state.:D Sold the ash, along with a pitcher, and the Oak will have a pitcher also. Not quite finished with the WOB pitcher yet, but it should be done in a few days. O finish is the same on both, BLO, followed by lacquer, waxed and hand buffed.

So it looks like you're about ready to hsng up the hammer and get a suit for all the Art Show openings!
A suit? not just NO but heck NO. If anyone ever cought me in a suit i'd be dead, and then i'd come back and haunt them for the rest of there lives. As far as giving up that hammer, heck after 35 + years, it's the only thing I know I can do in my sleep and still do a good job.:D
Thanks Jeff, yea it don't happen often, as I still like to give these away as much as I like selling them.

Nice forms, beautiful wood.

I kinda like the way the lip is more pronounced on the one on the right, it just looks "right" somehow (and personally I don't think the drying warp detracts, kinds looks nice that way imho).
