Really Big Turning

Cool! I'm sure the photo makes it look like its going faster than it really is, but I think I'd have a large steel net/cage up between me and one of those pieces as it's spinning
 
The problems with pieces like that is figuring out where to store them. :D

Very cool work. The sanding must be an ordeal.
 
At first I thought it was fake given internet etc because its just so amazing. But he is a brave man to stand in front of that lot. Thanks Ted for sharing it and thank your missus for sending the link to you.
 
I'd be afraid to turn a piece with that many void, can't imagine turning something that large like that. Amazing, you'd want a real steady hand.

Interesting. Must need a very large wall to hang it and make it look visually appealing. Large turned items used to fascinate me but now I appreciate smaller pieces much more. I think it is harder to make smaller pieces, particularly segmented items.
