You all know how these things go together, so I'll spare you the construction details. The first photo is the board after it was sanded and the corners relieved, the second shows LOML holding her new cutting board (she was very impressed,) and the third gives you a look at it in some detail. It was fun to make, and I thought it would really be a big hit, but someone else gave her an iPad for her birthday.
They asked me if the wood was really that colour (purpleheart.) I think they thought I had dyed it. The woods are birdseye maple, purple heart, and caribbean rosewood.
