Well, thanks to Dave Hawksford, the red guitar is red no more. I finally got my Variax 300 put back together last weekend, and yesterday we had a mostly sunny day so I was able snap a few pics. I've not been real successful in really capturing the glitter look of the paint he used, but it's the equivalent is a deep metalflake automotive finish. (Because it IS a deep metalflake automotive finish.) Needless to say, Dave did an awesome job putting a professional finish on it.

This guitar has a lot of extra electronics that most guitars don't, so I was pleasantly surprised when I got all the electronics re-installed and everything worked the first try. :)

Many thanks, Dave! :thumb:

Thanks Carol.

Vaughn that is SWEAT ! Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to test my skills.

Now when you pull up next to a Black Caddy with the flack paint job you'll see why I love the finish.
