I needed more tool storage in the shop and didn't want to buy something or spend a bunch on plywood so I decided to make use of an old server rack someone gave me. I pulled all the rack rail out and put some stringers inside so I had something to mount the drawer slides on, made some drawers and threw in some old counter top and 1/4" ply in the top section. I did make some what I think are cool drawer pulls, they are easy to use both over or under handed. The whole project only cost me the price of the ball bearing drawer slides and the casters I put on it. The slides I got from a local cabinet maker for $7.50 per pair for 22" full extension slides #100 rating.
