I put together a chair, all walnut, but after Im done cutting all those tenons and mortises, using what, 12-15 bf of walnut? I realized not the smartest thing. I could have purchased her a pine chair, which would look exactly the same as the walnut one I made, stained walnut color, for 24.99.
too much work, 75 dollars worth of walnut, bad choice by me, elen wouldn't have known the difference, nor cared.
too late now.
Im thinking I might start a desk/work station for myself upstairs to match the cherry cabinets, haven't built anything for myself.
