My wife, Myrna, had a stroke last night

Myrna had a stroke last night. The only sign that she is alive is that she is breathing the oxygen delivered into her nose. The doctors say that there is virtually no chance that she will recover. This is the second stroke in the past 10 days. She is in Hospice.

With great sadness,
JimB

Thanks Carol,

I live in a neighborhood where I can ask for help from any of the neighbors. Glenn has been a fantastic help. Myrna had another stroke Wednesday a week ago. Glenn came down and stayed a week to make sure all bills were paid and to set up automatic payments on all of our regular accounts. Myrna belonged to a wonderful ladies group (PEO) and I have had all kinds of volunteers from there. We seem to have things as much under control as possible.

This stroke is much worse than the first and is in the other hemisphere.

How can things be under control when you lose your wife and best buddy?

Thanks again,
JimB

My heart breaks for you and Myrna, I don't know what I'd do if I lost my lovely wife.
I'm pleased to hear you have such a great support system around you, lean on it.

All the best!

Stu

Sorry both of you have to have this experience. But, never give up hope.
