civil war canteen

Pretty cool idea. What did you use for the little edge 'clamps' or whatever? I'm assuming those are there to hold it together?
 
Thanks all. The idea believe it or not, came from a dream I had. I dreamt I was turning one of these for a friend, so when I woke up I drew a sketch and then went to google and came up with a better idea of what I thought I wanted. :p Didn't try making it exactly like any one of them, just took elements of different ones I liked. Brent the little strap loops are just there to hold the strap in place, sorta like belt loops.:D Took this to work this am and the guy I'm building a house for bought it out from under me. O well I bet I can make more.:thumb:
