After market Guitar Auto-Tuners

I agree with the "spendy" comment. I've spent less than that on several of my guitars themselves. Very cool technology, though.

These days I primarily use the tuner built into my POD floor rig when I'm playing live, and usually just tune by ear when I'm playing at home. Much of the time when I'm playing at home I'm playing along with songs on YouTube, so I have to adjust the tuning to match the recordings anyway. Using a tuner for that would be pretty tedious when I can just do it by ear in a few seconds. I've also used one of a couple guitar tuner apps I have on my iPhone for times when I want to get to A440 without hooking up the pedal board. Then there's the clamp-on tuner, which can be handy in cases where I want to tune my guitars before a gig but haven't set up my pedal board yet. I also have one that's about the same era as Dan's Korg.
