I have never used a router that came close to the Milwaukee 5625 3.25 horsepower.
I replaced it in my table because I purchased an electronic lift and it didn't fit, so I went with a pc 890 series.
only 2 and 1/4 and on days like today I felt the difference.
I had to use a 2 inch trim bit on 1.5 inches of hard maple, was not an easy task, router sounded like it wanted to go to sleep.
Never had that with any big bit on my Milwaukee.
I absolutely enjoy working with the festool 1400, my favorite hand held plunger.
I gave away my Ryobi plunger to someone who wanted to start woodworking but had no money to invest. I explained to him just use it for simple tasks.
I own the dewalt set with 3 bases, plunger included, its ok, I just use it for dovetails, nothing else.
