Tomorrow it's going up to 60+ and tonight I'll finish getting oil in the bike and polishing the medals and hoping I did everything correct replacing the rear shifter linkage. Might get some painting done this weekend.

I am headed back to Yuma today to get ready to bring everything over on Monday and Tuesday. Very busy weekend. I've learned you can take the girl out of California, but you can't take the California out of the girl. I'm a happy camper to be back 'home.'

Last day of at the table orientation...it's not fun working 5 in a row!! next week is back to 3 12's. So far so good. Making prep for the Saturday visit from Brent & Sharon...picked up a couple shoulders at Costco, smoker is on the patio...see if I can get this right!

another boring too cold to work in garage day.
maybe a movie, maybe a racetrack, maybe an extended nap.maybe nothing.
Ill start with breakfast and take it from there.

Besides the to cold to work in the garage part, sounds like a good plan.

We will be melting snow all weekend and next week!! :D I'll be working on flooring in our entry this weekend. Need to pick up some knee pads today for sure. No real plans other than that, kinda odd for us. Spring break starts next weekend so that will be busy for sure.

Allen put a through the wall Electric heat/air unit out there. I turn mine on low in the morning and it's ready for me to work in the studio when I get home.

Picking up around 10-12 gallons of Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams paint on the way home tonight.

I am REALLY hoping to get the ceilings painted.

Then I am REALLY hoping to get some mobility on the beam covers for the ceiling beams.

I am hoping I can get some progress pictures and reports going also.

Whew - that is all I can handle for a weekend

We loose and hour sleep

Ohhh - and there ain't no stinkin 60 degrees in the air yet. Not today - not on the 10 day -- we are still seeing teens on the 10 day

Have a nighttime gig (as opposed to a Happy Hour) tonight at a local tavern. As much as I'd like to use it tonight, I don't have my new effects/amp modeling box dialed in enough yet to use in public, so I'll just use the old one again. And to make matters worse, this place has limited stage room, so I can't bring as many guitars as I normally would...just 3 or 4 instead of 5 or 6. :D (And if those are the worst of my problems, life's treating me pretty well.)

Other than typical household chores, no firm plans yet for Saturday, but REI is having a big sale that I may go check out. Also have my choice of local bands/friends to go see Saturday night.

Sunday is too far away to make any predictions. ;)

After a grey week, the Sun is trying to peek out this afternoon! :thumb:

Friday: Sanded, dyed and sprayed first top coat (clear gloss) on the footboard and corners of our queen platform bed. Applied the first coat of tung oil (1/1 with naphtha) on the flag case for FIL.

Saturday: Final top coat (satin) on the rails for our platform bed. More clear gloss on the footboard and corners. Also need to transplant some plants into new deck pots.

Sunday: Hopefully, a day of rest!!!

Meeting some of my old co-workers for lunch today, then my wife and I are meeting some friends after work for dinner. Tomorrow more family room remodel fun. I got two more speakers to install in our ceiling downstairs (stereo is a 6.1 system). I found they were too far apart, so got these to help balance out the sound for both halves of the room. With those wires ran I can button up the sun room side of the family room and get started on some drywall mudding over there, plastic will be going up.

the ones I looked into demanded too much power, something I don't have out there and cant get without applying for a variance, something I will never do. My other option is a propane heater, recommended by my plumber.
Its just been a terribly cold winter here in NY. The weather people have already stated next winter will be much milder due to el nino effect.
another few weeks and I wont remember this cold, another 8 weeks Ill have the AC on and be complaining about the heat.

No clue as to what I'm doing. I haven't been told yet

That was funny! :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Finished what is hopefully the last jewelry box. Waiting the paint dry. Doing our taxes & my daughter's Federal & NY state income taxes.

Hoping to get to some projects that were back shelved.

Replacing the fuel pump on my daughters GMC Jimmy. Then troubleshoot the stuttering in my Escort I had on the way home from work. I'm thinking either fuel pump or mass airflow. Then I can get back to work on a wooden ladder similar to this out of quarter sawn western red cedar for a client of mine.
