OK, here's a quick quiz:

Can you spot the safety violations in this photo?

Looks like the square is about to slide off the stand and be bent, and a little clutter on the floor causing a trip hazard, and the guy suppporting the board need hearing protection also. Other than that everything looks to be in order

Pretty sure neither of those guys has any eye protection, and neither has any kind of respiratory protection.

CHEEZE

YOUZE guys are funny

There is a guy in the middle of the flood on his hands and knees acting like a saw horse.

There is another guy with a board on the first guys back using his foot to hold the board in place.

Guy #2 is using a circular saw to RIP the board.

The problem IS - the saw blade depth is WRONG - it should be as deep as possible.

And NOBODY - noticed it. HaHaHaHa

The guy sawing probably should be wearing metatarsal protection if he is going to cut like this. He is in a very poor body position anyway. Almost certain to have a fall as soon as the blade contacts the butt he is using to support the board. He should have tacked the board down with a couple of six penny nails through the waste material and kept both feet on the floor.

Hu

* Definitely an 'unstable'{mentally} work platform
* Not the proper technique for achieving a butt joint
* When making do with available tools & material, the 'coping' saw would be the best choice
* When positioning ones-self as a saw horse substitute, the arms & hands should be in a praying position
* a tilted hat with peep-holes and sun glasses are not a substitute for a proper face shield
* The proper tool would be a back saw
