Cool Use of Extrusions

This is why I don't understand why people upgrade their fences on saws like the Ridgid TS 3650. I guess some feel the need to keep up with the Jone's and give up all the versatility the stock aluminum extrusion fence gives you.

In my case, I upgraded the TS 3650 fence to an Incra system for the incremental adjustment and repeatability. The stock fence was nice and straight, but the Incra adjustment capabilities made for a big improvement in usability.
 
I've been obsessed with extrusions lately and askwoodman got me started. Still no the planning stages of my new router table fence. 8020 has a ton of offerings on eBay
