Finally completed the jewelry boxes I've been working on & off for the past several weeks, or was it months?:rofl:
They are posted in the order in which they were made. The first six are for the LOML (wife) & the last one (Wolf) are for the LOML-2 (daughter). As for the wolf, I was unable to achieve the effect I was looking for, i.e. a slightly used, but not antiqued, just not shiny new. So I chose a Flat Black paint for the body & a Flat Dark Chestnut Metallic paint for the drawer faces. The pulls were cubs that sacrificed their original form to serve another purpose. My daughter is coming home tonight for Easter; hope she likes it.

The rest of the line-up.

PS I don't know how one of the wolf pics was rotated CCW. Plus, once I uploaded the pics I couldn't delete any. How does one do that? :dunno:

well Al, once you got started it didnt take long to get up to speed that one purty collection and i also like the dollie, and if that picture is your daughter you got one right purty daughter as well:)

Thanks guys. Frankly I didn't anticipate the dolly would get any attention. My wife takes care of these things, I just live here. Appreciate the compliment on the picture, but it's actually a picture of my wife. She's 67 (schhhh), but she looks about 30+ years younger. ;) :thumb:

I think I'm done with jewelry boxes for a while. They have helped to pass the winter. Now I'm drooling over Adirondack rocking chairs, but first, with the weather improving, I need to go out & play in the yard, shoot my bow, go golfing, etc, etc, etc.
