that was a interesting trip paul,, and one heck of a lot of carving.. now that son of yours should apply, looks like a nice place to work when he isnt doing his duty for us in the military:)
 
I have visited the temple and walked through the workshops. I was told that one of the reasons for its existence is to teach traditional Thai woodworking skills. It is worth the visit and only about two hours from Bangkok.
 
Never been to Thialand, but I heard the women there all have thin thia's--lol :)

Beauatiful carvings. The carvings in the photo with the ladies sitting on them and working would make a beuatiful set of front doors.
