    Spiral insert ring box

    I created the insert on my Shark CNC and glued it into the top of this box that was turned on the lathe. I is made of spalted maple and walnut. I is about 3" x 3".

    That is a beautiful piece. I'd love to have one of those CNC machines. I do have the plans for a Rose Engine Lathe that I have kept for "someday". I still would a least like to build one of them.
